Market Recap For April 7th, 2022
Markets moved lower right out of the gate on Thursday, but midday saw a turnaround that took them back into the green.
Unfortunately, the final run into the close was on the bearish side. So, when it was all said and done, the day was somewhat mixed.
Yesterday’s Sector Performance
Healthcare found its way to the top of the market.
Real Estate fell into the red, after being at the top repeatedly.
Five-Day Sector Performance
Healthcare is also on top of the weekly chart.
Technology is still at the bottom, followed by Industrials.
ETF Trade Watch
Healthcare Select Sector SPDR (XLV)
iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB)
Healthcare has gained strength recently, making its way to the top of both our daily gauge, and our weekly one.
The XLV has been streaking higher, and the biotech laden IBB looks like it may be on the verge of breaking a key resistance.
